Reflections on Meditation
It is important that we choose a meditation that we resonate with. The power of every meditation is magnified inside a circle of crystals that open a portal to the spirit world. The power of every meditation is magnified inside the unified field created by the unified chakra meditation.
It is helpful to listen to the Youtube recording until you have this meditation memorized.
Our spirit guides know the exact meditations that we need to practice to make the most progress. They can see us in ways that our human minds cannot. Chuck’s first spirit guide Ben guided him for years as the voice of his intuition until Chuck developed the ability to communicate with him directly. As Chuck evolved, he kept getting more and more advanced spirit guides who guided his meditations.
In Meditation for the Love of It, Sally Kempton (formerly Swami Durgananda) said that our meditations should evolve along with us. Chuck meditated in countless different ways on his road to ascension. Sometimes he learned new meditations, but more often than not, he kept making small changes to the meditation that he was already doing to make it more effective.

Superhuman Effort
Normally, applying a lot of effort is that last thing that we want to do in meditation. Effort is usually the antithesis of meditation which requires surrender, but there are times when effort is warranted.
Chuck hit walls of intense resistance 3 times during his meditations, and he intuitively knew that he needed to meditate 3 hours a day until he broke through these walls. Chuck was in constant pain for most of his adult life, and he was willing to do anything to find a way out of his predicament. He wanted it more than anything. He meditated 3 hours a day as his mind tried desperately to make him stop. He took a bottle of Zantac every day to try to avoid digesting his own stomach. No matter what happened or how intense the pain was, Chuck was undeterred. After 3 months, he broke through the first wall. Several months later, there was another wall that required intense meditation for 3 more months. For the third and final wall, he meditated 4 hours a day for 3 months. After he broke through the third wall, the kundalini energy in his spine rose, pouring liquid light into his brain, and his life was forever changed.
I recently had my own experience requiring superhuman effort to gain control of my out of control mind that was impeding my progress. Life brought me 4 disappointments in a single day, and my complaining mind was out of control. I decided that I had had enough of Chuck’s whiny complaining mind, and with intense effort I reined in this mind in a way that I never had before. It took intense effort to do this, but lack of success was not an option. (The ascended masters tell us that gaining control of our minds requires intense effort.) Then I called upon the Cosmic Flame to incinerate the discordant energy in my mind. Gaining control of my mind made it possible for me to dramatically deepen my intimacy with Divine Consciousness.

Prelude to Meditation:
Connecting to the Central Sun and Bringing Up
Liquid Crystal Plasma from the Earth
Ascended Masters talk about the enormous energy that we can draw upon from the Central Sun. We can visualize light in our heart connecting to the Central Sun, draw this energy through our crown chakra and bodies into the heart of the earth, and then pull up liquid, crystal plasma from the Earth into every part of our bodies.
Preludes to Meditation
Preludes to meditation place us in a higher state of consciousness to prepare us for other meditations or spiritual practices. The unified chakra meditation is a prelude to meditation. I like to do the Central Sun prelude followed by the unified chakra prelude prior to my meditations and spiritual practices.
